In this monotype series I use movement and flow to reference the speed of time. The shapes within the whirlwind are those moments when we slow our breath, look around and savor the moment before we are caught up in the speed of life again. “Whirlwind of Time II” is an abstract encaustic (wax) monoprint on paper in turquoise, teal, brown, black and yellow with oil pastel accents.
