“Watching the Decay” is a framed mixed media encaustic monoprint. The artwork is part of the series “Love Letters to the Pacific Northwest.” The three-dimensional center piece is composed of encaustic covered photographs of fall leaves dipped in colored encaustic wax. The wax-dipped photographs have been hand-stitched to the monoprinted archival paper.
