Hitched to Everything Else in the Universe

“Hitched to Everything Else in the Universe” is a mixed media encaustic monoprint. The artwork is part of the series “Love Letters to the Pacific Northwest.” The three-dimensional center piece is composed of encaustic covered photographs of lichen, snow drifts, and burnt tree bark dipped in colored encaustic wax. The wax-dipped photographs have been hand-stitched to the monoprinted archival paper.
