The potato is an alternative material to print with but there is nothing new about it. I don’t remember ever doing it so I grabbed a potato from the pantry and picked up a paring knife to see what kind of stamp I could create. Here is my potato before printing:
I printed with black acrylic paint onto unprimed wood. Once I finished stamping I did some hand painting to add some more dimension to the composition.
