I love a pair of beautiful high heeled shoes. I love the way they make me taller and my legs look leaner. It’s a bummer I can’t wear them anymore because I have a broken sesamoid bone in both of my feet. This means I don’t wear fancy heels anymore. Now I realize they are beautiful torture devices. My art experiment today combines the MRI of my foot (worth $1000) with a page from an April 1995 W magazine featuring a China-inspired Amy Chan dress with a sequined flower by Thierry Mugler.
