Day seven was another teaching day for me. I taught another set of students introduction to encaustic painting at Bloom! an art escape in Yachats, Oregon. My piece for today was a demonstration I did for my students. The background was created with the left over bits from when my students scraped their work. I placed a layer of left overs on my wood panel and ironed them down to create my background. The mum I carved into this piece was inspiration from a floral apron one of my students was wearing.
